Ilactis is an anagram/nickname based on the name of my former provider Tiscali which I've kept because it sounded nice & mysterious and definitely unique. It also has an ancient ring to it. These pages are meant to collect my experiences on the web. Maybe interesting for you, maybe not...I am a 40-something Caucasian male living in Turnhout, Belgium, trying to survive with my communication, design, research skills or whatever is required for the job. Educated as an artist painter/sculptor I lived already many lives; as a bank employee, a "G.O.", a resort rep, tour-leader, tour-director, cruise crew rep, sales & advertising rep - even did door-to-door book sales once when needed- transferist, as a switch-board operator on a private island, also as a barman, waiter, cook, up to co-manager, warehouse assistant, warehouse manager, as a researcher for Mars (!), yea even served some time as an inland sailor! So I can easily say that experiencing things has been my main motto in life. My current work lies in assisting a professor in theology at the university of Tilburg; doing research, making web-sites & presentations, and collaborating with many other and various projects. I lived in Greece for over twelve years, what has changed my life completely and that's why you will find a whole section on Greece over here soon... |
